What is our Role?
We work for you, our customer, in connection with your insurance company. This relationship is important in order to ensure that the resulting claim is comprehensive and allows for repairs to all the damages incurred to your home or business. In situations where damage is widespread it is common for adjustors to be stretched thin. In many cases this overload can cause things to get missed or fall through the cracks. Our job is to be YOUR agent throughout the process and make sure you receive adequate coverage from the policy you have been paying for.
How does Schaumberg Builders define the scope of the damages?
Utilizing the latest in cost estimating and satellite aerial imagery software we produce the most accurate and detailed scope of work possible. The tools we utilize throughout the process are the widely accepted in the insurance claims industry thus reducing the time and effort necessary to settle your claim.
What do I need to do?
We understand that the demands from your personal and professional life are extensive. As your agent or representative we work directly with the insurance company on your behalf. After defining the scope of the damages we represent you throughout all stages of evaluation, negotiation, and final approval of the claim with your insurance company. We handle all the paperwork with little to no effort from you. Our agents meet on site with your insurance adjustor, assess the extent of the damages, develop a detailed scope of work, and follow the project through all phases of the approval process necessary to finalize your claim and move forward with the repairs.
How much does this cost?
After signing the authorization with Schaumberg Builders allowing us to represent you we charge nothing for our services. We work through the process with your insurance company and get paid from the claim when the damages are repaired. The out of pocket expenses are limited to the amount of your insurance deductible.
